Arifa Khan, M.D.

Dr. Khan is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Dr. Khan graduated from prestigious Allama Iqbal Medical College in Pakistan. She completed her Internal Medicine residency training at Interfaith Medical Center in New York. She served as Chief Medical Resident and received Best Medical Resident award, during her training. She received her Gastroenterology and Hepatology training at New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Hospital in New York. Dr. Khan has extensive training in diagnosis and treatment of disorders of esophagus, stomach, small intestine, colon, gall bladder, pancreas, with special interest in liver disorders. Dr. Khan performs upper endoscopy, Colonoscopy with polyp removal, feeding tube placement, and small bowel capsule endoscopy. Dr. Khan is an active member of several professional societies including American College of Gastroenterology (ACG), American Society of Gastrointestinal endoscopy (ASGE), and American Gastroenterological Association (AGA).
