As a Gasrotroenterologist, Dr. Neumann is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology with current recertification. He has completed extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, colon, liver and gallbladder. He has been in private practice since 1976 and with Digestive Disease Specialists, Inc., since 1998. Dr. Neumann is widely respected in his field.
A native of Okarche, Oklahoma, Dr. Neumann received both his undergraduate and medical degree from the University of Oklahoma. Before beginning his Residency, he served in the U.S. Army Medical Corps for two years where he did medical research for the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research. He subsequently completed his Residency in Internal Medicine and his Clinical Fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University Hospital and Clinics and the Veterans Administration Hospital in Oklahoma City. Dr. Neumann is a Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology, and a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, the Arkansas/Oklahoma Endoscopy Society, and the American and Oklahoma Medical Associations.
